Setting Up Screening
Configure denied party screening for your organization
Default Configuration
Arcliance comes pre-configured with screening against major U.S. government lists. The default setup is suitable for most organizations, but you can customize settings to match your compliance requirements.
Configuring Screening Settings
- Navigate to Compliance Settings
Go to Settings > Compliance > Screening
- Select Active Lists
Choose which restricted party lists to screen against. We recommend keeping all U.S. government lists active.
- Set Match Threshold
Adjust the fuzzy matching sensitivity. Higher thresholds reduce false positives but may miss variations.
- Configure Auto-Actions
Set what happens when matches are found: notify, block transactions, or require review.
- Enable Real-Time Updates
Arcliance automatically updates lists daily. Enable notifications when new matches are found for existing entities.
Match Threshold Settings
| Threshold | Sensitivity | Recommended For |
|---|---|---|
| 95%+ | Very Low | Exact matches only - not recommended |
| 85-94% | Low | High-volume, low-risk transactions |
| 75-84% | Medium | Recommended for most organizations |
| 65-74% | High | Defense contractors, high-risk products |
| <65% | Very High | Maximum coverage, expect more false positives |
Automatic Screening Triggers
Screening runs automatically when:
- A new trading partner is created
- An existing partner's name or address is updated
- A transaction is submitted for approval
- Restricted party lists are updated (daily)
- Manual re-screen is requested

- New Matches - Alert when new potential matches found
- High Confidence - Escalate high-confidence matches immediately
- Resolved Matches - Notify when matches are cleared
- Daily Summary - Aggregate screening activity report
